My alakazam and gengar made a force field around the the heat wave, just in case.

pikachu feint, which hits through protect, and shuts down its effect

My steelix blocked it.

My super speedy sandslash used earthquake just in time, and steelix went behind the protect.

all pikas had focus sash

My lucario uses extremespeed and since they march together, I hit them all.

they still got to use feint

Too bad gengar and alakazam had focus sashs, so they still got to keep the protect up, and I used full restores on them and gave them new focus sashs.

maybe so, but feint still removes protect, so the rain fell on the fire and put it out

Just a few drops of water got on it, but it didn't go out, and g & a put up another protect really fast.

protect fails if used in a row

Not always, I've seen protect work twice, it's VERY rare, but luckily it worked twice
