From Feb 27th to March 13th, anyone with a copy of Pokemon D/P/Pl can download via mystery gift a Jirachi. This must be done at your local Gamestop.
This Jirachi can be traded into Pokemon HG/SS to unlock a special route that can only be accessed if you have the special Jirachi.
Note: I am not sure if this extends outside of the United States. The date and location are valid for the U.S.
