fix up the site

I think the site needs to have dead or unanswered topics moved to trash, some icons need to be updated,
dead accounts need to be removed {helps with site speed}

this site just needs to be made over, and brought back to greatness {it has died somewhat, so... no offense}

tell me what you think...

yes, ive been thinking of ways to improve the site, because it is true... eptc, is dead atm. i asked the other hokages for help w/ deleting unactive accounts, but i guess they forgot, so ill have to del them all myself i suppose.
the dead topics i dont see as being majorly important to remove since... not many ppl come on, but yea it should be done. also i cnt help with the icons thing so u should ask ben about that.

*sigh* i saw this coming... a while ago, hopefully its just temporary or we can fix it

Idk alot of sites are hurting right now and losing memberships and i dont know much who arent having those problems. Also I think eptc isnt as great as it was because some of the prestige of the usergroups and all are now destroyed and you dont really have to try hard recruiting, donating, or helping the site out in other productive ways, or through seniority. And that has gone down the drain.

Also the site seems to be streched to as far as it can go in terms of forums so the site needs to focus more on more interactive things like tourneys, which are always long streched out, unorganized which causes it to be very annoying to do alot, so leaders mush work on organizing and conducting sites to flow better to make them go in a normal amount of time instead of long and drawn out as it is.

Also the gyms dont seem as prestigous anymore and with some of the gym leaders inactive and not getting challenges then the whole system has suffered. So i propose for the gyms we base them apon the point system as before and then if they dont have sufficient amount of challenges due to inactivity or unpopularity then they will be refunded their points and gym be taken away, though that may be not really able to pass as i know.

Also i think there should only be one or two hokages, no more, and then he/she should have a cabinet, probs like the anbus, who do act like representatives and at the same time doing stuff to improve the site, like how dli has said he will delete old topics.

There are other things needing fine tuning but these seem to be important because if the site is interactive then it will gain more members. thats all the ideas i got so far to fix the site up more but yea the site needs help because it doesnt have tpm anymore and needs to work around with what its got for now not waiting for more members or whatever. So i dont think we should have more and more hokages becuase well... i think then the site is kinda a pathetic joke crying, please join! and ill make u an @dmin. But it can improve from what its got and get better.

look we hear ur pain but u were inactive and can u tell me what u did as hokage to really improve and make the site greater? Im sorry i dont really know for sure so im just asking to truely create an opinion if u really did get "backstabbed" or ur just complaining u dont have what u once did

2nd i contributed alot to this site i started the RPG's
3rd i was voted as the 3rd hokage FIRST
4th TPM knew that i wouldnt be offline at times

well idk star started alot of the RPG's too and yes u did bring dli but its not like one person means u should be hokage and yes you were elected hokage but when u were hokage what did u do besides the rpg's? Also it may seem like i have something against you but i dont its just annoying u keep complaining that u should be hokage and hoping eventually with ur complaining everyone will just make u one tired of you saying it over and over again that u should be a hokage

i introduced spriting into this site

so DONT come off like you kno everything about this site when you havent been around here for over a YEAR

and being one of the oldest members on this site (not by age) i have a higher rank than most of anybody here the first members consisted of Me, TPM, 555, slimeborg, and a few others when did you join the site?
not when it was made and am i the only one who has thought of actually getting a sponser in a few gamestops near my house i even tried to get a few of my friends to join

now have you tried any of that? if you have then prove me wrong if not then atleast try

its cool lets just focus on ways on making the site more interactive and proactive than it is now, yes we do need leadership but i do still think that a cabinet could work just as well in doing this, so you could have the power and leadership in it just not the title of admin, which isnt that big of a deal, and if the cabinet members got panel access it would be the same thing

i mean i dont rlly want the admin title id like my own color like a light blue or sunthin

so what else can we do to help fix the site? zman's working on inactive members, old topics have been deleted. but it feels like we need somethin to attract the site :/ something NEW

the main problem is that we have basically no traffic here. we need more members that will actually stay for awhile, as ive said b4. but thats no easy task, advertizing helps, but its no guarentee. it seems to me, that the big sites (ex: seribi / smogon) are huge because they each have a specialty, on the main site. smog has good strategy guides, while seribii has good stat charts. in other words i think we need to improve the main site... if there is 1, i dnt even know anymore
